Dan Day on MySpace

Dan Day always seems to be on the air at 104 the X. People often ask, "When does he sleep?" well he doesn't, he runs off a small generator located inside the 104 the X studio. All jokes aside, Dan Day is from right here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and he officially rocks The Red Stick from 2 to 7 P.M.  His radio career began when he and his brother would tape songs on their boom box and talk over them, imitating the Jocks of the 80s. In 1999, Dan Day got his first "real" radio experience when he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His show was broadcast as loud as he could speak, because at the time UW did not have a radio station only a radio club. A year later he returned to Baton Rouge, to attend LSU. In his four years at LSU, he was involved in many different forms of media until he graduated with a Mass Communications degree in 2003. He began working behind the scenes at Guaranty Broadcasting in 2004 then in August of 2005 he began blowing up the airwaves at 104 the X. Today, Dan Day doesn't get much sleep but it does not bother him because he loves the music and the listeners. So next time you want to hear the best tunes in Baton Rouge along with information about music, slugs, honeybuns or an array of other broad topics, tune in to 104 the X and rock out with Dan Day.
